When an off-the-shelf extension does not fit, or you have five overlapping modules doing one job, a custom Magento 2 module is often cheaper to run. We build focused, upgrade-safe extensions using plugins, service contracts and declarative schema, with frontends for both Hyvä and Luma.
Marketplace extensions are built for thousands of stores, so they carry options and code you will never use. A custom module does one job the way your business works, with less code to load, test and upgrade.
We build modules the way Adobe recommends: dependency injection through constructors, plugins instead of class rewrites, service contracts and repositories for data, declarative schema and data patches for the database, and ACL-protected admin pages. Templates escape all output with $escaper, and frontends are delivered as Hyvä templates with Alpine.js, Luma templates, or both.
Every module is delivered to your repository with a README, configuration notes and automated checks, so your team or any other developer can maintain it.
New modules, refactoring of existing ones and fixes to third-party code.
Requirements, technical design, development, tests and documentation for a new module.
Change how a third-party extension behaves using plugins and preferences, without editing vendor code.
Hyvä-compatible templates and Alpine.js components for new and existing modules.
REST and GraphQL endpoints, webhooks and message queue consumers for integrations.
Admin grids, forms, mass actions and reports built with UI components.
Clean up legacy modules: remove core rewrites, add types, fix performance and prepare for upgrades.
Our modules follow the Magento coding standard (magento/magento-coding-standard) and pass PHPStan at a level agreed with you. Classes use constructor property promotion and readonly properties, controllers implement HttpGetActionInterface or HttpPostActionInterface instead of extending the deprecated base action class, and database changes use db_schema.xml with a generated whitelist.
We prefer plugins on public methods over preferences, keep observers small, and put business logic in services that are easy to unit-test. Configuration is read through typed config classes, and every admin route is protected by an ACL resource.
You can see this style in our module, plugin and REST API tutorials.
Pricing and checkout rules. Surcharges by payment method, minimum order values by customer group, delivery date selection with cut-off times and bank holidays, and validation rules that stop orders the warehouse cannot fulfil.
Catalogue tools. Product feed generators for Google Shopping and other channels, scheduled CSV and XML product imports with attribute mapping, and brand pages with SEO-friendly URLs.
Operational fixes. Plugins that fix third-party module bugs without editing vendor code, such as strict-typing errors under PHP 8.x that crash cron jobs or sitemap generation.
Integrations. Order export to ERPs and 3PLs through message queues, stock and price imports, and webhooks for marketing platforms — all with logging and retries so failures are visible.
The cost of a module is mostly in maintaining it. We write code that keeps that cost low.
PHP_CodeSniffer with the Magento standard and PHPStan run on every change.
Unit tests for business logic and integration tests for database and API behaviour where it matters.
No core edits, no unnecessary preferences, and compatibility checked against the latest Magento release.
README, configuration guide and changelog, so knowledge does not live in one developer's head.
Small modules take days; complex ones are delivered in sprints.
We capture business rules, edge cases and acceptance criteria.
Extension points, data model, APIs and frontend approach agreed before coding.
Module built with tests and static analysis in your repository.
Code review, functional testing on staging and your acceptance testing.

Describe the feature, your Magento version and theme. We will suggest whether to build, buy or customise, and estimate the work.
